The vast majority of crash reports have been resolved with the latest update to version 1.1.1. We have identified two additional potential problems that we are working to resolve as quickly as possible. Those issues are:
- If you have zero photos in your camera roll and the app is started with Location Services turned on, the app may immediately crash. The workaround is to either keep 1 or more pictures in your camera roll or turn off Location Services for the app.
- On some devices, extended bursts of pictures may run the device out of memory and cause a crash. Typically users are able to take 100 pictures or more in a burst with no adverse affect. The workaround is to limit continuous bursts to less than 75 images at a time
Rest assured that the developers are working on a fix and it will be released very soon. Due to the rarity and nature of the fix, we anticipate an availability date around April 19th. Primarilly, this is due to Apple’s review process which generally takes around 7 days.
As always, thank you for your support and feedback. We sincerely appreciate it.
